At ResQ, we believe that we can make a difference together, not only for your pet’s comfort but for our planet and our community. We are crafting pet beds with rescued fabric and foam while partnering with local animal shelters and rescue facilities to support rescue dogs and their new families.
With approximately 6 million dogs available for adoption in the US each year, we at ResQ want to help encourage and support families considering adopting a rescue dog. Second Chance Pet Adoptions is the oldest no-kill rescue organization in Wake County, NC. Located beside Reborn’s sewing facility in Raleigh, this non-profit serves nearly 800 dogs and cats annually. For every bed purchased, ResQ will gift a special coupon for a bed to a rescue dog family who adopts through Second Chance Pet Adoption. These coupons provide a free bed worth $169 to a family adopting a dog. As we expand, we will add more rescue shelters that can provide beds to people adopting rescued dogs.
“This is a wonderful way for people to help rescue dogs while taking care of their pets. Beds give the animal security in having a nice, comfortable place to land. Some dogs have never been indoors and had the luxury of a bed. The gift of a bed lets a rescue dog know ‘you are now part of a family.’”
